Scouting Report

Overview

About Gabriel

When it comes to pure leg talent, Gabriel Goroyan stands in a class of his own. The California native and Navy All-American Bowl selection elected to stay home and commit to Stanford University, a natural fit for one of the nation’s most accomplished student-athletes. Carrying an outstanding 4.72 GPA, Goroyan embodies everything the Cardinal look for in a student-athlete—elite academics paired with elite athletic ability. On the field, Goroyan possesses one of the strongest legs in America. Throughout his junior season, he connected on 7 field goals, including a long of 45 yards, converted 47-of-48 extra points—with his only miss coming on a dropped hold—and recorded 58 touchbacks on 65 kickoffs, averaging over 70 yards per kickoff. His production, combined with his rare physical tools, established him as one of the nation’s premier kicking prospects. Beyond the game statistics, Goroyan has produced some of the most eye-opening performances on the showcase circuit. He has successfully connected on field goals from 75 yards and has launched kickoffs measuring 91 yards with 4.3 seconds of hang time and 89 yards with 4.3 seconds of hang time, numbers that very few specialists at any level are capable of producing. With elite academics, All-American recognition, exceptional production, and one of the strongest legs in the country, Goroyan enters his senior season positioned to become one of the marquee specialists in the 2027 recruiting class before beginning his career on The Farm.

KT Evaluation

Evaluated Jul 25, 2026

Gabriel Goroyan is one of the most physically gifted kickers in the country. His leg strength is truly elite, capable of producing distance that few high school specialists—and even many collegiate kickers—can match. Simply put, there are very few footballs struck in America with the combination of power and trajectory that Goroyan generates. As a field goal kicker, Goroyan produces effortless range through outstanding lower-body explosion and natural leg speed. His ability to strike footballs from 75 yards in training is a testament to the raw power he possesses. More importantly, that power translates to game situations, where he consistently creates excellent lift while maintaining clean rotation and impressive accuracy. His kickoff ability is among the nation’s elite. Averaging 70-plus yards per kickoff while recording 58 touchbacks in 65 attempts, Goroyan consistently flips field position. His verified kicks of 91 yards (4.3 hang) and 89 yards (4.3 hang) demonstrate that he already possesses NFL-caliber leg strength, making him one of the most dangerous kickoff specialists in the country. Selected to kick in the prestigious Navy All-American Bowl, Goroyan has continued to validate his standing among the nation’s elite specialists. His ability to perform alongside the country’s top talent further reinforces what his film and measurable data have consistently shown. What makes Goroyan especially exciting is the combination of physical talent and long-term projection. His powerful left leg, natural athleticism, and ability to effortlessly drive the football downfield remind KT Recruiting of a left-footed Cameron Little. While every player’s path is unique, Goroyan displays many of the same explosive physical traits, elite leg strength, and advanced ball-striking ability that made Little one of the nation’s top kicking prospects before reaching the NFL. KT Recruiting Evaluation Stanford landed one of the biggest difference-makers in the 2027 recruiting cycle. Goroyan has every measurable trait coaches covet—elite leg strength, outstanding kickoff ability, proven game production, All-American recognition, and the academic profile to thrive at one of the nation’s premier universities. We believe he has all the tools to become Stanford’s next NFL specialist following the path established by Joshua Karty. His rare power, effortless ball striking, and tremendous upside make him one of the premier kicking prospects in America, and we expect him to develop into one of college football’s elite specialists with legitimate NFL Draft potential.
