Julian Trujillo

Julian Trujillo is a field-position weapon with the ability to completely change a football game. He consistently drives the football with outstanding distance while producing the type of hang time college coaches covet. Trujillo has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to hit punts 50-plus yards with 4.8 to 5.0 seconds of hang time, giving him the ability to flip the field for any college football program. What makes his evaluation especially impressive is that his production has consistently carried over to live college camps against quality competition. During the summer, Trujillo put together one of the most impressive camp performances in the country: Won the New Mexico Camp with a 57-yard punt (4.7 seconds of hang time). Won the Colorado State Camp, highlighted by a 55+ yard punt with 5.05 seconds of hang time. Won the Colorado Punt Competition against a talented group of specialists. Dominated the Kansas Camp, producing a 61-yard punt with 4.8 seconds of hang time and another 53-yard punt with an outstanding 5.3 seconds of hang time. Finished his summer with another excellent showing at the Northern Colorado Camp, recording a 55-yard punt with 4.8 seconds of hang time. Those performances weren't one-off moments—they were repeated throughout the summer in front of college coaching staffs. That level of consistency is what separates Trujillo from many of his peers. The biggest takeaway from his summer wasn't simply the distance or hang time—it was his ability to consistently perform at a high level every time he stepped in front of college coaches. Winning multiple camp competitions while producing elite punts under pressure is exactly what programs want to see during the recruiting process. His size, clean mechanics, and ability to generate both distance and hang time give him the physical tools to compete at the highest level of college football. We expect Trujillo to be one of the most heavily recruited punters in the country heading into his senior season. If he continues producing on Friday nights the same way he has throughout the camp circuit, there's no question he has the ability to become a major national recruit.
